Shri Saibaba Sansthan’s Firm Step Towards ‘Green Energy’; Solar Projects to Drive Massive Savings

In a significant move towards sustainability, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust is set to install a 1709.92 kWp Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar PV project across its buildings. BPCL will provide ₹4.45 crore through its CSR fund to support this initiative.

The formal MoU was signed in the presence of MP Bhausaheb Wakchaure, CEO Goraksha Gadilkar, Deputy CEO Bhimraj Darade, Executive Engineer Bhikan Dabhade, Chief Accounts Officer Mangala Varade, Administrative Officer Sandeepkumar Bhosale, and Electrical Dept Deputy Executive Engineer Kishor Gawali.

Representing BPCL Foundation were GM & CEO Bina Mansukh, GM Devendra Joshi, DGMs Rajesh Tikhe and Sanjay Yadav, Asst. Executive Mukesh Muneshwar, and Dy. General Managers N. Meghanathan, Abhijeet Chavan, Mahesh M., Rajkumar Mishra, Manoj Jadhav, and Harsha Bidawatka. Pankaj Sharma and Ruby Sharma of ‘Shri Saishraddha Saburi’ also attended for their coordination in the process.

With a total power requirement of 7.96 MW, the Sansthan is on track to generate 7.3 MW through wind and solar energy, making the temple complex nearly energy self-sufficient and a model for green energy adoption.
