The auspicious festival of Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great devotion and spiritual fervor at the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Trust. The sacred premises resonated with chants of “Jai Hanuman” as devotees gathered in large numbers to honor the birth of Lord Hanuman, the embodiment of strength, devotion, and selfless service.
The celebrations began early in the morning with special pooja(rituals), abhishek(holy bathing), and the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations. Devotees participated wholeheartedly, offering prayers and seeking blessings for courage, protection, and inner strength. The temple was beautifully adorned with flowers and lights, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting environment.
A highlight of the celebration was the organisation of a mahaprasad (community meal), where hundreds of devotees were served with love and humility, reflecting the teachings of service and compassion. Bhajan and kirtan sessions further enriched the occasion, uniting devotees in collective devotion.
The festival at Shirdi not only celebrated the glory of Lord Hanuman but also reinforced the values of faith, patience, and selfless service, which are deeply rooted in the teachings of Sai Baba.
